Membership

Membership Fee:
£10
Membership of the Sidcup Lapidary and Mineral Society (SLMS) is an annual subscription
running from September to September.
This roughly follows the academic year with three terms.
(No meetings between terms and a break for half term)

This entitles you to come to the AGM (March), events and field trips
whereby you will be covered by the Society's Insurance Policy.
This is payable at the time of joining
(See below for additional Room Hire fee)

Before joining you may visit up to three times (Tuesday evenings, term time only) free of charge
to talk to Members and see Members using the machinery etc. before making a decision to join.

Room Hire Fee:
£150
This is to cover the cost of hiring the Tuesday evening meeting room during term time.
This annual room hire fee entitles you to visit the club meeting room for the appropriate number of Tuesday evening meetings
where you can use the machines (following appropriate guidelines)
You will be covered by the Society's Insurance.

You must pay both Membership and Room Hire fees, before making use of the any of the machinery/lapidary equipment.

Payment Options
There are three options for 2022:

• To pay Annually in September, the fee is £150 (Plus £10 Membership Fee - payable once a year) for the whole year
Total £160

• Or this can be broken down into the 3 terms, at £60 per term (total £180)
(Plus £10 Membership Fee - payable once a year)
Total £190
- each instalment payable at the beginning of each term.

• Pay upon attendance each time you come along - £6 per evening.
(Plus £10 Membership Fee - payable once a year)

The club reserves the right to change fees at any time and it is adviseable
that all applicants check that the fees mentioned above have not altered from the time of publication.

We occasionally run a 4 week course in May/June.
We will put a poster up on the website and Facebook page, so watch for these courses
